Tipping is an expected and accepted way of doing business in many parts of the world and a lot of effort goes into calculating a percentage of the bill at the end of a meal, as well as the time spent researching the expected practices of an upcoming holiday destination.

However much of the coach hire industry in the UK is unhappy about the practices of tipping coach chauffeurs. Since it is up to the coach hire company to ensure that they are offering the best possible service, it should also be up to them to reward and motivate their chauffeurs for good work.

Therefore, carrying out customer feedback reports to find out how well the chauffeurs are performing, would allow the coach hire company to reward the chauffeurs who, in any other industry, would have been tipped.
